Trek America - Route 66
Oh Route 66. The big highway that runs from one side of the country to the other(ish).All along the route were these kitsch hippie towns and quickly became a icon of American Culture. When interstates were bought into the USA the road fell out of favourite more and more and eventually became a weird sort of ghost town of the past. There are lots of stops along the way that are full of the Americana spirit of the time though and it's actually a pretty cool visual. We stopped off at Delgadillo's Snow Cap Drive-In, which is still a popular tourist stop. Delgadillo was working on an extremely limited budget, so he built the restaurant...
