I just had a friend of mine call me and tell me she was diagnosed with cancer. Thank God it's curable and she's doing well, but one of the side effects of chemo is losing your hair and you can imagine how upsetting this is to any woman. I've had some hormonal issues of my own and my hair has thinned in certain areas and to say the least, I understand. Even on a smaller scale, it's devastating. We are women put a lot can place a lot of value on our hair, even myself. I always told myself if something happened to my hair beyond repair, I'd have some fly wigs and I would wear my scarves.
