Today I took my class to Sacramento (CA state capitol) on a charter bus to visit the capitol building, two museums, Old Sacramento, and they panned for gold. To say the least it was an exhausting trip, but the kids loved it. J. Crew Chambray blazer & navy shorts, Lands' End Canvas Heritage oxford & sandals, D&Y hatI enjoyed taking some photos of Old Sacramento as I walked around the little shops and looked at the signs after lunch. The kids were with their chaperones, so it was nice to have a small break from being teacher so that I could be a tourist:We ended the day at this museum where we learned more about CA's Gold Rush and then the kids panned for gold...
