Mother's Day with Shari's Berries
This week I had a little early Mother's Day celebration with the most amazing woman I know, and some treats from Shari's Berries . My Mom is an extraordinary baker, and while it would be impossible to rival her confections, it was so delightful to have a dessert for her that she didn't have to lift a finger to create. The chocolate cake , chocolate covered strawberries , and mini cheesecakes were all delicious and so decadent. Even though my siblings and I are grown, my Mom's duties to us never lessened. She is still the first call with any, and every cooking question. I text her photos of clothes I like while shopping, seeking her approval, and she is the bargain...
