A quick look back to an outfit I wore strolling the streets of Istanbul ... Everything about this look was practical - this leather jacket was perfect for fending off March breezes while sitting outside and sipping Turkish coffee. These boots are chic, but flat, so I could walk in them for hours. My bag was big enough to carry trinkets, but not so huge that I couldn't carry it all day. And of course a scarf is a must - both for wrapping around my neck as the cool of the evening hit, but also to throw over my hair if I wanted to peek inside a mosque. Read more about Turkey here !
