Keeping it feminine
With the new septum ring I am trying to keep things ultra feminine. It’s a very polarizing piercing and fortunately, so far, the majority of feedback has been positive! Or they may just be being polite I find that reactions to piercings varies by generation and location. In my situation it is definitely a ‘fashion’ statement rather than one of rebellion. I spend a lot of time researching style images and maybe that is why I see that piercings can be sophisticated and elegant, as opposed to harsh and aggressive. The NYTimes ran an article here that makes interesting reading.
