Of course gingham is popular in the spring and summer…doesn’t it remind you of a blanket you use for a picnic? What exactly is gingham? It’s a plaid where the stripes are the same width—any color and any size stripe can be used in the design! Needless to say, Nancy & I had to borrow my mother’s jacket—we do not own a single piece of gingham....
