when i first heard the term “ athleisure ,” i kinda got it. it did, yet didn’t, resonate with me. i’ve actually been an athletic girl all my life…volleyball in junior & senior high, tennis in high school & chinese kung fu from college to the present. so, i’m oddly used to living in sportswear all the time anyway. mesh & nylon paneled uniforms, sleek leggings or drapey pants with racing stripes, school-branded hoodies, jackets & sweatshirts. as girly girl i am in real life, these have been part of my wardrobe since my teenage years (i.e. a looooong time ago), so as a trend, i just find it *odd.* ...
