Can’t Pretend
This is the first time I’ve ever worn my reading glasses on the blog.
Many of you may not know that I’m pretty blind. The most stubborn version of myself will not accept the defeat of wearing contacts and I have always felt pretty insecure about wearing my glasses in public. There’s a small part of me that believes it displays a sign of weakness and fragility. Another deep rooted piece of myself thinks it confirms the undeniable fact that I am aging.
