Sometimes I wonder why people have so many feelings...beautiful ones, sad ones, and boring ones. Love, curiosity, excitement, fear, joy, despair. We carry the same hearts throughout life with feelings coming and going faster than we can tell. Like how a tree remains the same tree, yet its leaves are forever changing and growing, coming and going. Sometimes I feel as if I'd rather do without all these feelings, but that would be awfully grey, wouldn't it? Like a dark, fogged-up window on a rainy day that you try to draw faces on, only to find that the faces you drew disappear as the dampness of the glass fill in the eyes and smiles. It amazes me how small things cause...
