Raiding My Sister's Closet: Valentine's Day Pink and Red
On first wedding anniversary, we went to dinner at a lovely little semi-upscale restaurant that I had heard good things about. It was a decent night: the food was okay, the service was decent, and the company was good. It certainly wasn't the fanciest place out there, but we spent a fair piece more than we would have spent for a usual night out. Afterward, both of us commented that we wished we hadn't spent so much on a 'okay' meal, and decided that for future anniversaries, we would rather go to one of our favorite places, where we know we will love the food and not have to spend an arm and a leg for it. Since then, we have always gone to our favorite burger...
