The end of the school year is quickly approaching and one of the events on the calendar is a school wide performance where every grade level must perform a dance routine together to present to the other grade levels. The fourth graders are doing the Virginia Reel, and it was very cute (yet exhausting) to help them all rehearse. We paired each of them up with a student of the opposite gender and many of them objected to that (especially when they found out that they had to touch hands!), but once they got going and knew the routine they had large smiles on their faces and were having a great time. We'll rehearse a couple of more times next week, and hopefully by next...
