Hopefully it doesn't translate as too steampunk (isn't that a thing?), but I just feel like the mixed textures help update the rest of the pieces. I really have to be careful with this top as it has the potential to read as something a slimy stock character with a thick New York accent and bowler hat would wear. My M.O. lately has just been to be a full-on freak.
