Over the weekend I helped my mother who is in the middle of moving to a new place and it reminded me how crazy my move and home search were last year, I learned a lot of things the hard way, things I wish someone had told me before I started looking for a place, like to stay away from fuse panels or certain breaker brands, or to run for my life from a frame house (at least in Florida) or the fact that you need to lock your interest rate while all the closing takes place, I really wish I'd had a better mortgage broker and Realtor, it's amazing how important is the role they play, specially for first time home buyers.
