Ski School The second half of our Tahoe trip consisted of freezing my face, toes and fingers off. There were times when I literally couldn't feel them. I thought my Hunter boots would keep me warm if I wore thick wool socks...wrong. They are ideal for the cold and rain, but not snow or 10 degree weather. I guess that's what happens when you haven't been in "real" snow in almost 20 years. Lesson learned for next time. Hand and feet warmers were my BFFs and luckily I brought plenty of other layers to drown out my numb limbs. It's ironic that my kids never once complained about being cold.
