I don't have any Christmas parties to go to as usual this year so I try to come up with excuses to dress up when I can - like going to see the LA Phil on date night. That's a good enough excuse to wear a party skirt, right? It's always fun to hear what people think of your outfit when you are a little over dressed. One of the ushers told me I looked very classy. And as I was coming out of the bathroom one lady said to me, "Very dramatic". I'll take that as a compliment although I guess it could go either way. Maybe too much drama for the symphony? Haha...
