Orangutans, Goats and Friends
You know what else Shangrila Rasa Ria has in it’s resort? An Orangutan Sanctuary, Childrens playground, Goats, Birds, Activity Centers and more that won’t fit into this post! There was just so much to do there, and enough variety for different types of adventure. Today, I’ll walk you through the greener part of the island!
The Orangutan Sanctuary comes first. Here, they treat and rehabilitate baby Orangutans- Sabah’s most iconic species. Before you get inside, you are asked to attend a mini seminar to know the do’s and dont’s inside the reserve. My number one tip? Wear breathable clothes and lots of insect repellant!...
