A Long December
I don't know what it is about coming back from vacation that makes even the simplest daily activity suddenly seem like a daunting task. Needless to say, I have not been on my A game this week - between trying to decorate the house for Christmas, prepare for my daughter's birthday party next weekend and get all my holiday shopping done, I've felt like a disheveled mess. In the midst of it all, I've had to just stop & remind myself that it's completely okay . It's okay to let that laundry pile sit for another day so I can read my son "just one more" book at bedtime. It's okay if those crumbs on the table aren't immediately swept away after each...
