Thanksgiving Parade
As I posted on Facebook , I was really struggling with what to wear for Thanksgiving. My husband and I traveled to our hometown to spend Thanksgiving with my family at my parents’ house. My mom and step-dad keep their house much cooler than ours (68 versus 75 degrees!) but I knew that as I helped in the kitchen I would warm up. Plus there’s the whole part where you want to wear comfy pants. You know. Because pie.
(By the way, I made this Brussels sprouts recipe and it got rave reviews even from the non-Brussels sprouts fans. We made a few changes in that we blanched the sprouts before thinly slicing them and shredded the apple in the food processor....
