Every year my law school throws a party in March to honor faculty and students blah blah blah. I have no idea who won any of the awards last night, but it was a great opportunity to dress up, hang out with friends, and have a nice meal with an open beer and wine bar! As far as getting dressed goes - I always seem to gravitate toward the same shapes for cocktail dresses. My friend and I were shopping and talking about this -- like you seem to find one shape that looks good on you and then next you know you own 7 of XYX type dress. For my friend it was dresses with one shoulder, for me it is strapless. As I was trying on my dress options I even tried, really really tried...
