Celebrations
I am very big on celebrating anniversaries and Thanksgiving week is always a very nice time to celebrate milestones, beliefs and enjoy family tradition.
A newer tradition that I take part in every year, being a semi-newlywed, is celebrating Thanksgiving with my in-laws. It always involves taking a day trip to the parents house where I typically pack a tote bag with a few key items: A pair of flats, cozy socks, a warm scarf and a small bag of make-up. Since we are away from home for the entire day I make sure I have everything I’ll need in case a last minute game of football, fireplace storytelling or an evening filled with Apples to Apples...
