How to Wear a Summer Dress in the Winter
If you fall IN LOVE with a dress while shopping during the summer, do YOU ever think about wearing it in the winter?
If the dress is rather expensive, I ask myself 4 questions:
1) Is it a timeless type of pattern/cut/design (will I get more than one season out of it!?)
2) How often will I wear it?
3) Is the material + stitching high quality?
4) Is it something I can wear year-round? (I am looking at the color + type/weight of fabric + comfort + appropriateness for multiple seasons)
This James Perse dress passed the test for me this summer while I stood in Nordstroms reviewing these questions. So now I’m excited to wear it...
