I’m a little obsessed with neutrals and white at the moment and with all the options currently available (think coats, dresses, skirts, sweaters and many more) things are definitely moving away from being so typically dark for Fall/Winter. I love mixing whites with neutral tones especially during Fall/Winter, its unexpected and effortlessly fresh. The key to layering light and white tones is texture; look for thick knits to combine with items from fine fabric. This helps you to keep your look luxurious rather than clinical.
