You'd probably never know, but I've been wearing glasses since the age of ten, and contacts since the age of seventeen. I remember very clearly the day it became obvious my eyesight wasn't as good as everyone thought. It was a Tuesday evening and I was supposed to be having a piano lesson. Instead of having my usual lesson, my mum, piano teacher, and myself decided to have some fun and go to Dairy Queen instead! My ten-year-old self was pretty enthusiastic about the idea.
