mother's day
I woke up to an attempted breakfast in bed on Sunday morning, with heart shaped waffles and everything. But I say attempted because sometimes Everett just doesn't believe in breakfast in bed or heart shaped waffles. He believes in eating. So we ate together around the kitchen table, and I got my fill of baby kisses in between bites, which let's be honest ... is kind of better anyway. The rest of the day was spent together at church, at the park, at our friend's house for a delicious BBQ, and ended in bed early, with my husband and a large box of dark chocolates. Mother's Day indeed. Not a bad gig.Hope your Mother's Day was sweet and spent with those you love too!
