Leather and loafers
I’ve always had a thing for real leather jackets. I got my first on a day trip with my Mum and Dad in Chester. It was a gorgeous cream blouson jacket from Lakeside Leather and I was thrilled with it. I couldn’t wait to wear it and went out on my bike in it, promptly falling off – no damage to the jacket thankfully – only my pride! A few years later I got a bat wing black leather jacket (it was the 80s) from Whittaker’s department store in Bolton. It cost a fortune (well for then) and it was a birthday present. After several warnings from Mum and Dad about not leaving it anywhere I wore it to a party and threw it on the bed with everyone...
