EASTERN STATE PENITENTIARY
While in Philly last weekend, a friend and I visited the Eastern State Penitentiary. At first I was a little skeptical of how much fun this place could really be, but after visiting and taking a tour, I highly recommend doing the same if you're ever in the area. The biggest spook factor was just that the place has been run down over the past few decades, but during it's time, it was a prime prison that successfully housed thousands of inmates, including Al Capone. His prison cell was the "5th Ave" of Eastern State, and looked like the goal apartment atmosphere of a Brooklyn hipster. Seriously, check it out his cell below. XOXO S. ...
