Among the lessons I learned from our trip to Paris this month is that traveling in Europe goes hand-in-hand with navigating some narrow, unforgiving cobblestone streets.
… And lots of stairs. Our apartment (which I’ll tell you more about in our next “ Postcards “) was on the fifth floor!
Heels were a rarity, as a result, and I only wore the spiked pumps that I packed when we’d planned a nearby dinner on Rue Cler , a permanent outdoor street market in Paris’s seventh arrondissement, which was only a block from where we were staying.
