I gotta say, as much as I love bold patterns and color mixing I am a big sucker for going monochromatic. Don't get me wrong, I am always attracted to looks that have a lot going on, but sometimes it's nice to just tone it down a bit. This look was a easy to throw together, but made me feel chic all day. Keeping everything relatively close on the color wheel allowed me to play with texture by including a pleated silk blouse and metallic tweed coat.
