Working with the Basics
Are you sick of seeing this camel blazer yet? I had an extensive packing list for our trip to Paris, I promise. I planned on dressing in super chic, super Parisian outfits for our days and nights of wandering around the city. But then, I got sick two days before we left. I was at the doctor’s office just a few hours before I needed to meet the girls to leave for our flight, which left me about an hour to pack (while having a fever of 100.6). Needless to say, the only things that sounded remotely appealing to wear were casual, comfortable basics.
