Walk On
This week has been a mad rush trying to get so many things done before we leave for our trip to the city. We're pulling the kids out of school on Friday and driving into NYC to participate in the Alliance for Lupus Research walk, as part of my involvement with their organization. It will be our first time exploring the city as a family (my kids' have never been) and we are so excited to experience it together and make new memories. It comes at a fitting time since I've been dealing with some unexpected health issues lately & might be facing a potential surgery next month. Though I'm a little discouraged, I'm doing my best to view this obstacle...
