NO PARISIAN, NOR FRENCH
With all the talk about “how to be a Parisian” ( Caroline de Maigret ) and if we are French yet (part of Manrepeller’s design collab with Être Cecile) I had to pick up on the subject because I still hear it a lot… “you’re French, right?”, “you are such a Parisian girl”. God, what a compliment, especially the latter. But let’s be honest, who is fooling who? Being a Parisian isn’t something you can become, you have to be born one.
