Over the weekend, our temperatures dropped into the low 40's, which prompted me to begin pulling my wool coats out of storage & into my closet. This menswear-style coat (last seen here ) was one that I had previously loved, but it was honestly too tight through the shoulders. But instead of purging it, I decided to see if my tailor could remove the sleeves, which would solve the fit issues & salvage the coat. It was well worth the $10 I paid & I'm thrilled to now have a long wool vest that I can wear layered over my sweaters & dresses until it gets cold enough to require more hefty outerwear. I have a feeling this will be even more...
