the Oxford Wife Part II - On Saying Farwell
Saying farewell is a funny thing. Especially when you lives in a relatively small city. You can never be quite sure if it's actually the last time you'll see someone prior to leaving - who knows if you'll bump into each other by chance just before departure? For the last two weeks before Mark and I left for Oxford, there were a lot of prolonged goodbyes in that sense. It was a bizarre feeling going to our favourite places knowing it was the last time for a long time we'd have the luxury to do so.
