Quick TBT: Playing Dress Up, 70s Style
I've been pretty gung-ho about my Throwback Thursday posts lately, and I got some wonderful responses to my post last week about hair and identity! This week, I didn't prepare a post in advance and was at a loss as to what I could put together. Then, I remembered this picture Adessa and I took when trying on our mom's and aunts' old dresses at our grandmother's house in 2012. Please appreciate the super bright paint colors my mom and her siblings picked out in the '70s! The dress on the left, modeled by Adessa, carries a lot of significance for our family, since my mom wore it on her first date with my dad! They went to a restaurant called Chicken...
