Well, I've never been one for beaches and scorching heat, but equally, I'm not the biggest fan of bitter cold weather, and the torrential storms that have wrecked the coastline over recent winters haven't been fun. Toss delicious spiced food and drink, cosy knitwear, and beautiful soft light in for consideration, and autumn comes out on top. I've also come to love it even more over recent years because I get to have autumnal walks...
