SIA: "The Star" by Degas
I was so excited that Jess chose a ballet-themed Degas painting for this week's Style Imitating Art inspiration. I remember learning about Degas in middle school and deciding he was my favorite painter. I've dabbled in dance over the years, but was never quite coordinated or dedicated enough to really do ballet. I've loved going to the ballet since I was little, though, and have enjoyed incorporating dancewear-inspired pieces into my wardrobe in recent years.
