Back to the blackboard
Another SIA with Salazar inspired by Winslow Homer’s “Blackboard”. Firstly, I noted the gingham on her overall and the grey of her dress with a little nod towards the hairbow/band. Decided just to go with that really and the simple palette (plus very schoolish-looking Mary Janes- from Rieker- thank you to the Cobbler in Haltwhistle high street who I bought them from- nice shoes!) and combine some items. My favourite swing-dance dress from Lindy-Lou's plus a hairbow I found in the lost property at camp and wore one day then found it in my stuff when I got back home (ooops!) plus a Miss Selfridge shrug (nicely wrinkled, like our inspiration)...
