Miss American Finn
This is not the first time I've been in Finland on the Fourth of July, but it is the first time I've been in Finland on the Fourth of July AND acknowledged the holiday in any way. Inspired by the red, white, and blue inventions of fellow bloggers, I put together a semi-patriotic outfit, but mostly used the day as an excuse to play with makeup and put my hair in a bouffant. I did something entirely new for this look, which was to tie this scarf around my shoulders. It feels a bit costume-y since I'm not used to it, but I kind of like it. What do you think?
