SIA: Gather Ye Rosebuds
I'm excited to be participating in Style Imitating Art again after a bit of a hiatus from the project. Jess of Animated Cardigan chose a beautiful, romantic Pre-Raphaelite painting as this week's inspiration. Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May by John William Waterhouse (1905) When I was seventeen, a friend of a friend told me that I reminded her of a woman from a Pre-Raphaelite painting, and it was one of the best compliments I've ever received on my appearance.
