Harvesting Wine Grapes at Jumping Vines
This past Saturday was an early start by getting to harvest grapes at backyard vineyard, Jumping Vines in Coto de Caza; mind blown that this vineyard was located in the backyard of the Graves' residence. I know absolutely nothing about wine grapes, wine, harvesting and what have you; but it was a simple task and tons of fun getting to trim the grape bunches (and coming across larger and larger bunches) off the vines then running the tubs of grapes down the hill. I, along with Keith, his dad, step mom, and sister had a blast harvesting (Keith and his sister even stomped on the grapes in the tub).
