Weezer is my Good Luck Charm
When I was in high school I was introduced to the band Weezer, though they had already been around for years. Shortly after, I saw them in concert for their "comeback" tour in 2001; it was my very first concert. Driving to college to move in freshman year, my mom and I had to drive our small vehicles separately to be able to fit all my belongings. I was filled with the nervous-happy-anxiety you get during a change like this. I remember listening to the Blue Album the whole way there to feel something familiar. And during my first trips to Philly to visit my best friend at Temple University, I'd listen to Weezer to calm my nerves and keep me focused while traveling...
