A jolly year of married life
CBC and I celebrated our first anniversary on the 9th of August. It's hard to believe that we have been married a year now and this time last year, we were enjoying the last week of our honeymoon in Switzerland! We celebrated our anniversary in Haltwhistle and Hexham. It was an interesting day as CBC got up at about 6.30am to take part in the 'Hell of Hexham' cycle ride, so I woke up to an empty space, but on the pillow, was a paper bag with a present inside. A beautiful little acorn necklace. CBC has a silly nickname for me Kezzie-Squirrel and so I thought the acorn was really cute!
