There's something about a slightly popped collar that takes a regular button-down shirt up a notch, in my book. It feels the teeniest bit retro glam to me, like what I envision stylish Katherine Hepburn-types in the '40s used to do (my level of historical sartorial accuracy is based largely upon what I imagine in my head, so just bear with me).
