Visiting Family in Phước Hải, Vietnam
After a few busy days in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), my grandparents rented a van and we went along with my two aunts and family friend (whom we were staying with) a couple hours north to the commune of Phước Hải. I got to meet family on my grandpa's side that my mom and brothers had never met before, as well as visit the family plot in which many of my ancestors were laid to rest. I prayed along with my grandparents, leaving incense at each tomb; chased the neighborhood chickens; then went back to our family friend's second home (we are staying at her other home when in Saigon) nearby for lunch.
