Parental Advisory
Good times, perfect company and cloudless days.
That was my weekend in a nutshell, which is why today’s post is a day late and a dollar short. So-to-speak.
There’s nothing quite like having your family in town — for better or for worse. (The “for worse” part usually creeps in if (1) the duration of their stay is longer than 72 hours or (2) a trip to Ikea is involved.)
My parents traveled to New York over the weekend — and I was grateful for every minute of their stay. It’s an extraordinary event for us to be in the same city these days, since schedules are busy and I was traveling in Asia over...
