Us Brits are a funny lot, what with our predilection for queuing, love of weather related moaning, dress codes and many, many traditions. Those traditions were out in force at the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup final last month. During the summer months England’s green and pleasant land plays host to a myriad of annual sporting fetes that have been going on so long they’re embedded in our calendar and our culture itself.
