jeans in July
Is it really July? This morning it was 60 degrees out while Lauren and I were running. Usually it's too warm for Penny to go any faster than an 11:15 min/mile pace, if its even cool enough for her to come with us (I don't let her run unless it's below 72 degrees and below 50% humidity). Today she was dragging us at the end of our 6 miler, with a pace of 10:49 min/mile . I'm sure she loves that it's cool enough that she gets to come running, but bring back the heat, please! I mean, it's July, I'd like to be sweating in shorts and a tank top, not looking for sweaters to pair with my jeans. But I guess I shouldn't complain too much. At least it hasn't been...
