The Summer joke
There are those summer days which totally backfire and leave you massively disappointed an Friday was one of those times. By some serendipitous coincidence both Chris and I were left free early on that sizzling hot afternoon, 27 degrees, sunny and beautiful. In keeping with my ethos of squeezing every last bit of enjoyment out of the season I announced we were dropping everything and heading to the beach; changing into my new bikini and cover-up dress, grabbing beach towels, book and (obviously) camera.
