I typically don't like to buy pieces that are notoriously trendy - in fact, sometimes I get bothered when I purchase something and suddenly it's so popular that everyone owns it. I usually prefer to have more unique pieces (one of the many reasons I will never buy a pair of Rockstud heels or a Celine bag, even though they are beautiful). However, I made an exception with this blazer - the more I kept seeing it on other people (examples here and here ), the more I fell in love with the modern stripes & easy shape. As soon as it went on sale, I snatched it up & I am so glad I did...even if quite a few other people own it. ...
